This document describes the Digital Battery Passport Vocabulary, i.e., the Vocabulary for the EU Battery Regulation Digital Product Passport, covering battery identity, compliance, materials, carbon footprint, circularity, and performance and durability data as defined by the BatteryPass-Ready DataAttributeLongList v1.3 (March 2026). .

This vocabulary has been defined by Spherity GmbH and provides a RDFS vocabulary based on the results of the Battery Pass Project. Comments regarding this document are welcome. Please send them to tbd.

The data attributes defined in this vocabulary are based on the Battery Pass Data Attribute Long List v1.3, published by the Battery Pass Consortium, which provides the normative list of mandatory and optional data attributes required for a battery digital product passport under REGULATION (EU) 2023/1542.
